There are so many young children in The Meadows and not a single public playground. The city said none is planned because all the US Homes and Assoc. funds were spent on the concrete trail and plants. Parks and Rec told me we could get a playground at the Chapel site on 64th if enough residents requested AND the Assoc. kicked in part of the cost. Do I have any support on this?

I believe there may be plenty of support - the real question is money - the park needs a lot of work - It has many drainage issues and something has to happen to that chapel!!! I am all for any improvements and a playground!! By Gregg Schuster |

Chapel
I'm not opposed to restoring the chapel but it seems to be a money pit. My letter from the city says the Boy Scouts donated money to replace the roof, yet it still needs $10,000 of fundraising to finsh restoring! I'd rather spend that on a playground!
