North Central Thousand Oaks

I am concerned about my neighbors cutting down ''big'' trees in their front yards. Trees are what make this neighborhood beautiful! There has been at least 6 mature trees cut down just in the 4 houses near me. And these are just what I know of. This is ridiculous! They are making this neighborhood look cheaper and cheaper every tree they cut down. If anyone feels the same or knows why this is going on I'd like to hear what you have to say.

Tree Cutting

I am not sure what part of our neighborhood you are talking about. I haven't observed any tree cutting; not to say that there hasn't been. The homeowners involved may have had reasons for doing so--diseased trees, building something or adding-on to their houses (although unlikely in the front yard), etc. Could you let me know what streets (or even the addresses) you are concerned about and I will try to do some research. As far as I know, there is no City ordnance against cutting down trees on your own property.
