Did you know that one pair of breeding cats, with their offspring, can generate 420,000 kittens in six years; and two breeding dogs, with their offspring, can produce 67,000 puppies in seven years?

Many of these precious animals will be destroyed, however, simply for being born into a world without enough homes for them all.
Dog and cat overpopulation is an urban crisis and you can help by spaying and neutering your companion animals.

It?’s quick and affordable, especially for Oak Cliff residents.

The Humane Society of the United States provides affordable sterilization at its 4830 Village Fair Dr. clinic, off Interstate 35 and Ann Arbor exit.
Spay and neuter surgeries are performed by appointment. Patients are admitted between 7:15 and 8 a.m. the day of surgery. Generally, patients are discharged later that same day.

The clinic is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. To schedule an appointment for spay or neuter surgery, call 214-372-9999.
