North Cliff is where you live. It?’s a conservation district and has an all-volunteer neighborhood association whose mission is to bring together residents, fostering community spirit and diversity within a clean, safe and secure neighborhood.
North Cliff N.A. was founded in 1988 and has diligently worked to respond to resident?’s needs. During these years, we have worked with our elected officials to ensure that our area continues to thrive.
Our boundaries include 12th, Ravinia, Clarendon and Chalmers, for a total of 580 plus homes and a few businesses.
We work closely with Dallas Police to ensure the neighborhood remains safe, and guard the neighborhood?’s integrity by collaborating with City of Dallas Code Compliance office.
We secured $4 million in infrastructure improvements through the City of Dallas Capital Improvement Program bond elections. This effort began in 1991 with the Brooklyn Avenue beautification project. Streets, sidewalks, curbs and gutters were rebuilt along Brooklyn, Ravinia and 12th.
We raised $10,000 for the colored and brick stamped sidewalk ramps along Brooklyn Avenue, and Ravinia and 12th streets.
We petitioned door-to-door for 11 gravel alleys to be rebuilt and paved with concrete. That project got underway this year.
