The Young Women’s Christian Association is a not-for-profit organization that began as a movement in England in 1855, in the United States (New York City) in 1858, and in Dallas in 1908. Each began with a small group of caring and perceptive women who began the task of making all aspects of life better for other women.
The YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas has touched millions of lives during its 94 years in the Dallas Metroplex. We actively work to meet the various needs of our diverse community’s women, children, and families through a variety of many engaging and beneficial programs such as:
