May I ask where you heard that information?

If you are referring to the information that Ferrelview wants to annex NCV, I heard this from a very reliable neighborhood source.  If you are referring to how I view this annexation, this is based on first-hand witness of Ferrelview kids trespassing on NCV property (the clubhouse, fitness center and pool) and trashing it with cigarette butts burned into tabletops, trash placed in the refrigerator, a hole punched in the wall of the fitness center, the pingpong table and foosball tables downstairs broken and trashed, jumping into the pool fully clothed while sitting in the lounge chairs, going into the pool with open beer cans, leaving empty pop bottles and beer cans strewn about the poolside, dumping cigarette butts into the pool, breaking up the concrete around the pool with skate shoes and dumping dirt into the pipes at the pool.   Telling them to stop it or leave doesn't work.  Are you willing to face off with a couple of 17 year old thugs in your swimsuit and physically toss them out?  That's not how I want to spend a summer afternoon at the pool.   In case you weren't aware of these goings-on, I have seen this first hand at the pool and caught them redhanded trashing the clubhouse.

I was referring to where you heard about the annexation.  Yes and I have heard about all the problems with the pool.  I also have seen strange kids in the neighborhood.  I have not been to the pool in the past 2 years.  But I totally understand what you are saying, that is a scary situation.  Hopefully all that can change.  I just received an email from some of the city members of Ferrelview, I just wanted to know the scoop.  Thanks for the information.

You're very welcome.  Like you, I am hopeful we can restore our community to a safe, clean, friendly place to live.  I just wanted to enlighten those who weren't aware of the problems we have had in the past with Ferrelviewers to the possible consequences of being annexed by them.  If this is true, we have nothing to gain and they have carte blanche access to our clubhouse and pool.  There is  no reason to believe the trashing and vandalism would not continue and we would have a bigger mess on our hands than we do already.  Can you tell me if the email you received from some of the Ferrelview city members addresses the prospect of annexation?
