Are You an Accountant or CPA?  Help!!!
The Association is heading into new territory and needs some guidance. The fundraising efforts that were started last year will continue for several years. NGHNA, identified as a non-profit by WA State, needs to declare itself in an additional tax status for federal (non) taxpaying purposes. There are now 2 bank accounts; one for general Association purposes and one dedicated to the Park Development Fund. If you a member of the neighborhood and are willing to donate an hour or two in conversation with the Board about taxes and accounting, please call Charlie at 891-4596.

Census 2000--This is your future, don't leave it blank!
The City & County have formed partnerships with the US Census Bureau in an outreach effort to inform all residents about the purpose of the census. Please complete the census questionnaire that will be sent to all homes at the end of March.

Over $180 billion in federal funds are distributed annually based on census data, and we want to make sure that our City and County receives its fair share.
