The John & Margrette Coop Park Concept Design

Well, the Park is almost ready to complete another step in its short, but very accomplished life!

Attached to this newsletter is the draft design of the Coop Park. The NGHNA Coop Park Design Committee, headed up by Fran Blair, discussed issues and components to include into the park. An initial design was drafted and shown at the November general meeting. There were some comments and new ideas offered. The design was re-drafted to take those into account.

At the January meeting, we?’ll have a last chance to look at the revised draft before we accept it and it moves on to the Park Commission for recommendation and then the City Council for approval. Once it receives approval, construction documents will be drafted. And then, the Park can be built, foot-by-foot, piece-by-piece, through donations, grant money, funding from city or other sources, our own sweat.

Come to the meeting and take a look at the drawing. It's much larger than the attached page, in color and very exciting!
