Water Pressure

Posted in: Towne Lake Hills South
I have a problem with water pressure. I moved in to my house on Lexington Avenue last March. Ever since I moved in the water pressure has been low. Not crazy low or anything, but lower than I'd like. Takes forever to fill up the bathtub for one thing. Does anyone else have this problem and if so any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Adjust the regulator

There is a water pressure regulator just after your main shut off in most houses that can be adjusted.

I tried that. It made no difference

I've never had good pressure

The pressure at my house on Mt. Vernon is barely adequate. You might want to get a pressure guage and connect it to one of your spickets. You can test the pressure before it gets to your regulater and then connect to a spicket thats comes after the regulater. At least you'll be able to tell if you're getting enough pressure from the street. They're about 10 bucks at Home Depot.
