Hidden Lake Rules:
Reminder: Don't forget to mail in your Opt-In Agreement, if you plan to use the lake. This includes uses for fishing, boating, swimming, etc. Please also remember that while the $20 gets mailed with the Opt-In Agreement, it's money that stays with our community to administer the stickers, fish stocking, lake improvements, etc. It stays in a separate account. We decided to keep it and the Opt-In together to make administration easier.
Mail the Opt-In agreement, proof of insurance and $20 to:
Hidden Lake Ski Club
2840 West Bay Drive, #143
Belleair Bluffs, Florida 33770
Until you send in your Opt-In agreement, you will not be allowed to use the lake. Our HOA, as a condition of the settlement, is required to enforce that. Don't forget your proof of homeowners insurance or the Opt-In Agreement cannot be processed. We will have an alphabetical list of residents authorized to use the lake as well as identification stickers to make identification easier. The Board of Directors has adopted the Hidden Lake Rules into our Common Area rules, as allowed by the Covenants and Bylaws. Any violation of Hidden Lake Rules will be treated as a violation of the HOA's Covenants and Bylaws and all power of the HOA will be used to enforce those rules. The Board of Directors will not allow the actions of a few to destroy the settlement and eliminate lake access by our residents.
Currently everyone who has sent in an Opt-In and their proof of insurance, has already been issued a sticker. If you have sent in your Opt-In and haven't received a sticker, please contact me and we'll find out what's wrong. I have received 9 without insurance and we'll send notes out to them this coming week requesting the insurance.
All during the settlement process we (the surrounding HOAs) insisted that the homeowners could manage and police ourselves to create a mutual coexistence that was acceptable to everyone. We are well on our way to demonstrating that we were correct. The Opt-In Agreement is part of that process.
