What should be done with the land that Iroquois Homes sits on once all the buildings and people are gone in 6 years? The Housing Authority currently has no plans for the land. Should it be used for a park? Or how about finding the money to rebuild scattered site homes, apartments, commercial, etc.?

It is crucial that all parties involved around that area get involved in this. Neighborhood associations, councilman/woman, residents, builders, developers, etc. We could create and develop a beautiful setting of affordable homes and greenspace, that could put us in the forefront of new urbanist development. Is the plan to raze all of the buildings? I know that several are gone, but did not know if more were planned.
