Panhandling?

As of April 8, residents around the 4300 block of Elkins report a young black man knocking on their door after dark asking for money to help get his car going again, that it is stuck on the freeway with his pregnant wife, etc. He quickly becomes scarce when the offer is made to call the police to come help him.

A detailed description of this man, his clothing and any car associated with him would be helpful. As always, make note of any moles, scars, gapped teeth or any features that can not easily be changed.

Please contact the police if you are approached by him. A photograph would also help.

man asking for help

Doug, this man came to my door about 2 weeks ago, he had a letter with him that he read which he said was from the local churches where he had asked for help. Karen Montgomery 4309 Nevada. 4/17
