Traffic calming

I do feel that the traffic calming project is lowering the speed. Is it perfect? No This is a work in progress. Before nothing was being done to calm traffic on this street. I encourage all of the neighbors to take part in the neighborhood meetings. We would like to increase the number of neighbors that take part the neighborhood association. The neighborhood association is not only focused on traffic issues on Kenner and Woodmont Circle but would like to improve life for all the residents. Thank you for your interest.

Better, but not Perfect

I live about half way down Kenner, so if a motorist wants to speed, they will be doing it by the time they get to my house, coming from either direction. I belive most motorist have slowed down, however, I don't believe most motorist are drving the speed limit. The crooked lines look funny, but they're better than anything that's been done thus far. Perhaps speed bumps with one continuous walking, running, and biking lane would work even better. And where the road is wide enough, proivde a lane for parking.
