Salado Creek is a terrific outdoor learning laboratory!
When you visit the creek, you will be doing important work. You will gather scientific data about the plants and animals you find.
Do you have tools that will make the job easier? Binoculars? A hand lens? Field guides or reference books? Digital still or video camera?
Work quietly. Observe carefully. Count the number of different species you find. Record your data.
