One time I went to Salado Creek. It was okay but it was scary because I could see spiders and other things I don't like.

The only thing I liked was the birds and the water with the fishes in it. I saw a deer, a turkey and also squirrels in the trees. It was cool to just look around and have a good time.

I was very excited to see a turtle come out of the water. I've been wondering how it would feel to have a turtle as a pet so I got it and put it on a rock to see what it would do but it just stayed there.

I saw a daddy long leg spider. I also was amazed to see a bird and it was saying jay - jay - jay. So I sat down and watched the bird. Then suddenly I saw a snake. I jumped up like a bear trying to catch a bird from a tree. It was getting dark so I left.

Now you know some things about Salado Creek, so when you go, don't forget about the animals.
