NEAC 2002 ELECTIONS

OPENINGS

NEAC has openings for District commissioners. The individual must be 16 years or older and reside in the district in which he/she wishes to run.The openings are as follows: District I (northwest quadrant) 2, District II (northeast quadrant) 1, District III (soouthwest quadrant) 1,District IV (southveast quadrant) 1.Specific instructions for running are available in the lobby of the Model Neighborhood Facilities Building 1393 E. Broad St. If none available, please contact Commissioner Larry Roberts at 596-1256.

DEADLINES

The deadlines for the 2002 election are as follows:
MAY 10, 2002 Dealine to turn in petition and resume at 1393 E. Broad St. by 5:00 P.M.

MAY 13, 2002 Verification of petitions by NEAC Elections Committee

May 15-17, 2002 Candidates notified by NEAC elections committee.

May 18, 2002 Campaing starts for all candidates certified by the NEAC elections committee.

June 1, 20021 VOTING DAY. ALL FOUR DISTRICTS WILL VOTE AT 1393 E. BROAD STREET form 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. PLEASE PROVIDE PROOF OF ADDRESS. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED VOTER.
