Several times Bellemeade citizens have attended Commission meetings and asked about the block watch program. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the block watch officer for LMPD Division 8 we made contact today. I have received the forms and have sent in the registration from for Bellemeade.
Officer Pickett will be at the June City Commission meeting to explain the process to us and get us started.
For this to work each block will need a captain to organize the block watch so we need volunteers to step up to the plate. More later!
