RECYCLING TIPS
In July everyone received a black-lid yard wastcc ontainer as part of the City?’s Pay-As-You Throw waste reduction program. The refuse/recycling collection program is now fully automated, which means there are three (3) containers, each of which is picked up by an automated arm on a truck. To avoid spilled cans please place your containers at least 3 feet apart from each other and other obstacles so they can be picked up without hitting another container or car, etc.
Please rinse cans & bottles before putting items in your blue-lid recycling container & remember no plastic bags in the yard waste container. For more information: 626-744-4721.
