Hey Robert,

 You are never going to please everyone.  As I said before it is more of a learning process for many than an actual programmer's nightmare.  The majority of the complaints I have read here are from the people that are still learning the new format.  I believe one of the reasons you all created the new format was to responded to many criticisms about anonymous posters using many various pseudonymes for whatever mood they were in.  It is obvious that the majority of people complaining about not being able to use a new pseudonyme dislike it due to the fact they can't diss their neighbors in a nasty way virtually anonymous anymore.  If a real issue such as a registered sex offender moving into a neighborhood comes about there is information already available and simple to link to in each state.  Not everyone has the same likes and dislikes and your not going to be able to cater to each and everyone.  My compliments to you all for taking strides to make a very enjoyable area for people to discuss with each other.  Tweaks and learning will probably be a forever process for you and I wish you the best and the best of luck.

I agree with most posters regarding the new discussion format... but I notice that my post with local neighbor site is always the first... not sure if posting discussion to other nieghborhood sites was really a good idea... looks like most users of this site want local discussion only... it provides for a true local neigborhood forum and  way for local neighbors to communicate.  I think that you should be able to post anonyous for a number of security reasons regarding the person who is posting... their are very controveral issues that people want to speak out on without using their real names.  But overall I really love your site and use it all the time to display writings that have mass general appeal.
