  • Respect-O-Meter: Respected Neighbor

Obvioulsy my phone would not let my original comment go thru:

But I just wanted to say Thank You, to the awesome neighbor who instead of being a respectful, decent neighbor could not come to my door to let me know that our Lab was barking and disturbing them , BEFORE they decide to be a complete jerk and call the cops on her. My husband is working 5-2pm and he was letting her out in the morinng and I dont wake up till 6:15am and had never heard her barking.. neither did my daughter who also lives with us.  All you had to do is grow a set of balls and come talk to us and we would of made sure the problem was taken care of.  We have lived here for over 10 years and last few years have had nothing but issues with crap in the neighborhood. So I am assuming it is  mostly with the newer folks,  since we had no issues prior to that.

I talked to animal control and they told me that Laws are extremely VAGUE and no set times on "noise ordinance" for dogs barking, just to be respectful of the time and our neighbors.. so I am letting them out before I leave for work at 7:30 and my daughter who is home all days most days will be home if their is a issue , we are also getting a bark collar for the lab.  SO see .. all it would of taken is a friendly conversation and we are more then happy to deal with the issues. NO need to be such a a** about it and call out  the police and waste their valuable time on petty issues that could easily be handled in much simpler ways!!!
