Several lots, in the NFHOA area, are in a floodplain area. These are located to the east side of Lochwood from Shepardson School between Lochwood and the railroad tracks along the drainage channel.

To access the City of Ft. Collins website floodplains map click on the following link. There are two maps to select from. Select the City Floodplain map and not the FEMA map. You will need to click on the map area several times to "zoom" in on the NFHOA area as defined above.

This information is provided for the homeowners in that area to assist them in detemining how to prepare and protect themselves in the event of flooding.
