Thank you for your response and welcoming words, Wanda. I'm not judging the entire neighborhood by afew incidents or a few rude children. Our wires weren't cut, they were disconnected and we did talk to the parents of the children involved.

I think that this is a terrific way to dialogue and to get opinions out there. It's hard to attend Civic association meetings--we all have such busy lives and it's so easy to make excuses not to attend. I know the last thing I want to do on a Sunday night is go to a meeting! But I've been talking to neightbors and trying to encourage more to attend the meetings.

The problem is we need to be in on proposals at the beginning--we need to take the time to be proactive and not reactive. You're doing a great job; let's keep on doing it!

to close or not to close

A traffic study was done before stop signs were put in. The new study should be compared to the old. Emergency and fire should be contacted to talk about the feasability of a closure. To be fair the end we close should be the one THEY recomend. Another option would be small grade speed bumps like those in Misty Vale Farms. I don't like them either it's just another option to consider. How about closing the development in the middle. We all need to keep in mind that Bayberry is going to use interconectivity to get around problems at Boyd's Corner. For now we should see about the comparison traffic study to better determine our course of action. Janine Meltzer

closing off southern entrance

I think closing off the southern entrance to this developement would be a good idea. It may seem like an inconvience for some, but look ahead into the near future, wouldn't it be a better time now than later when it would be late?
