Ament to that. Hatred has nothing to do with it. Being a coward may be justified since you just don't know what people are capable of these days. That being said, everyone should make themselves aware of the rules....its only logical that no matter where you live there will be rules. Why should I, as a neighbor, have to make you aware of what you should or should not be doing?

And to the original poster, if you cared so much about these neighbors then why didn't you alert them to the fact that they were breaking the rules? Is it because you didn't know that what they were doing was a breach or did you choose to ignore the violation?

If someone would go up and down the streets of this development they would see about 3 or 4 houses that have some kind of violation. If you are going to have one neighbor clean their act up then all should be made to.....

everybody should for the good of SALEM WOODS call in code violations.KEEP YOUR HOME VAULE UP AND BETTER PLACE FOR ALL TO LIVE. if we keep letting things go , we will be the next brookmont farms/sparrow run. the trash around the place is already out of hand.not just the kids, alot is the adults.stand up for yourself, no one else will

I have to agree with you. Someone called in on our neighbors because they put trash in plastic bags (the clear type) and they just throw these bags (apparently they had 3 or 4) at the side of their house. They cut the grass but today I passed by and saw that they are still putting the trash in bags at the side of the house (not in containers). Seems like having the county come out doesn't mean anything to them. These people are nice enough but they are not Salem Woods type people...they get out of their cars and if paper/kleenex falls out, they leave it where it fell (or maybe they just throw it there) and the people who visit them are even worse. Of course, the crap eventually ends up on our property on windy days. Maybe I'll be next to make that call.
