We just moved in last week to Middletown Village from New Castle after what seemed like a long wait! Our experience so far has been excellent! Everyone seems really friendly, and our children are happy to have the play areas! We live on Liborio and walked to Doc Levinson Park this past weekend and were surprised to see how everyone really takes pride in the care of their yards and have started to plant flowers! We are glad we moved to Middletown Village and look forward to a bright future here!

You are correct. There are many fine people living in Middletown Village who care about this community. In fact on Saturday (4/16/05), we are asking all residents to go out into the community for our ''Spring Cleaning''. We encourage the planting of flowers, bushes and trees. In fact, in October 2004 we received a grant from the State of Delaware to plant over 60 trees in some of our parks. We have already started the grant process for 2005.

I ook forward to seeing you at the monthly meetings and on Saturday.

Meetings/Warm Welcome

Thank you for the reply and warm welcome, it was very informative. My husband and I plan to attend the next meeting and look forward to Saturday in an attempt to keep our neighborhood well maintained. Right now, our yard is a ''hay/mud mess'', so I'm not sure we can do much with our own as far as planting, but plan to do so as soon as we can, and plan on trying to get some of the construction debris picked up this weekend. The trees will be nice in the parks and aren't we lucky to get a grant?! Look forward to meeting you in the near future. Amy and Jeff M.
