On Tuesday, April 26, 2011 a vehicle was broken into on the East side of the campus, in front of the 219 set of garages. Please be on the lookout for suspicious activity on property, especially around parked cars. Please call the police if you know any information on this break-in or other suspicious activity. The police will be making extra patrol rounds on the property. If you have a garage, please park your vehicle in it. |

On Tuesday, April 26, 2011 our van was also vandalized. Passenger side window was scratched quite deeply. Didn't report this to the police. |

The person's car that was broken into (window smashed in) did not report it to the police-- I advised the person to do so (which I called the police to make a report on their behalf). I also took pictures of the car and location. At least the police will have a record of the incident. This clearly sounds like a related incident.

Like I mentioned, I asked the police to patrol more often here... And I have discussed the possibility of putting up a couple of motion-sensor light that may startle the vandals. Any other suggestions would be great.
