For those of you living in the 215 building with the new electronic locks:
Each unit has been assigned 2 unique lock codes. I can change these lock codes at any time if you wish.
The reason each unit has 2 different lock codes (instead of everyone in the building having the same code) is so that the keys and decals on the electronic locks wear the same-- if everyone had the same code-- the numbers may wear off faster, and the same buttons being pushed multiple time a day may wear out prematurely.
Lock codes for the front and back doors are the same. However, the actual keys are different for each door.
The batteries in each lock will need to be replaced (I'm assuming once a year). Please let me know if a lock needs new batteries.
