As pointed out in the recent newsletter, I think that Stop signs would slow speeders. Stop Signs at the 4 way intersections would be a good start. Park Timbers Drive narrows at Grand Canyon and would be a logical choice for a Stop Sign.

Stop Signs May Be the Answer

Stop signs may be the answer. We are looking into the use of ''speed humps'' that would cause vehicles to ''bottom out'' if they traveled across the ''speed hump'' at a speed in excess of the posted speed limit. The use of stop signs may be an alternative which would definitely be less expensive. We will consider all alternatives in an attempt to force people to stay within the posted speed limit on the few long, straight streets within the subdivision.
