Cut it out you thoughtless pricks

I hate when I'm out driving and am stopped at a red light next to another driver who is blasting obnoxious music from their car stereo. Or worse, when I'm in bed trying to sleep and someone is stopped at the intersection outside my window with their loud music blaring. Why do some people (teens and adults) love playing loud music from their cars?

Sincerely yours

There is a new "Anti-Noise" law in place in the City of Dallas that was inacted about 2-3 years ago.  If there is ANY noise that you can hear from 30-60 feet away, approximately, no matter what time of day or night, that is against the law.  The problem is that when you call 911 about it, this problem is at the bottom of their tier level system and keeps getting bumped back when other more important calls and/or a higher tier call is placed.  It has been my personal experience that it usually takes around 4-9 hours or more before they respond to your complaint at which time, the "noise" has ended so their report says, "no noise found".  If there isn't any "noise" found, then the records don't ever show there is an ongoing problem and doesn't get the higher ups attention, unfortunately.

The cop that live next to me it the worst of the bunch. He works for the sheriff's dept. and I guess he thinks he doesn't have to obey the law. You can clearly hear his music in the house above the TV and the window air conditioner. I had to go out twice last night and tell them to turn it down. The last time was about 12:15. I'm tired of it. And the cars too. If Dallas would just enforce it on the streets like FT. Worth has done, we wouldn't have the problems. They might work with the spanish stations to have them explain the law to them. b

It's been my experience that a lot of the mexicans know about this law.  They just choose to pretend they don't.
