New Police Precinct

A new Memphis City Police precinct has been added reducing the area
covered by the local precinct. This has made additional squad cars available
in our area and helped to reduce response times.
Following are some safety tips from the Memphis Police Department
that could help to keep you safe.
Have your car keys ready when you are getting into your car.
Fumbling in your purse or pocket for them could give an intruder time to
notice you. Always check both the front and back seats for intruders before
entering your car.
Always lock all car doors even if you are going to be gone for only
a few minutes.
Do not leave valuables in sight on car seats. Lock them in the
trunk. Keep your purse on the floor beside you.
Do not attach your name and address or license number to your keys.
Keep your car keys and house keys separate.
