Wilson-Hutton to North Heights Zoning
Zoning Map for Part of Our Neighborhood
A few weeks ago a visit was made to the Zoning and Planning Department at City Hall. I wanted to check the zoning of a property on my block.
To my surprise, I found out that my home and many others in the surrounding blocks were zoned "R3". R3 is for apartments. Only one block north, all of the others were zoned R2 (duplexes). I had thought that my home was zoned R1 for a single-family dwelling.
If you are curious about your zoning and your home is not shown on the map I've scanned, you can check with the Zoning and Planning Department at City Hall. I found it necessary to go there in person to get the information.
