Northern Hills outnumbers opposition at public hearing 2 to 1

Oct 24, 2001

We came. (to the church)
We saw. (The recommendations)
We said what we needed to say.
We wrote what needed to be written.
We voiced our concerns.

''This is wrong!'' we said.
Thanks to all the people who wrote or came by the public hearing on September 26th.

We were asked to place a blue paper dot on a map to indicate what neighborhood we were from.

The Northern Hills area was covered in blue dots by the end of the day.
THANK YOU NORTHERN HILLLS!
Our united voice will be heard.

Some new points of dispute.
The handouts at St. Joseph talked about the Technical Advisory Committee ''not being a voting body''.

The TAC may not be a voting body, but I still would like to have some questions answered.

How can a report say ''this plan was approved by the TAC'', when no vote was taken?

How can a recommendation be ''TAC approved'' if there were dissenting members of the TAC?

How can they tell when an item is ''TAC Approved''?

Does this mean that whoever heads the TAC can decide what the TAC approved?

Just how does this approval system work? Please, someone, tell me.
