What's the hurry? It'll Take Years!

Maybe we should just ignore this. After all it will take them probably more than five or six years to get everything done. It?’s not like the planes will be overhead by Christmas. Six years is a long time away. Long enough for me to get the house fixed up, and sell. Now I know someone said a study says that property values decrease by 4 percent for every quarter mile you are close to the flight path, but if I sell within 4 years I won?’t lose a thing. The rest of you activists stick around and take a 24 percent hit. I?’m putting a FOR SALE sign up. It?’s the easy thing to do.

Read the wording on the six-signature memo. Then read the comments made by Mr. Baanwolf and Mr. Peak. By not passing an ordinance, they do not need FAA approval. They can call it a request, and "the need for testing". Get ready for 125 flights a day starting in June.
