I love living in this neighborhood but the houses that don't take care that their yards are free of junk. clutter, brush make our neighborhood look bad.   I think it makes our property value lower, especiall those that try to sell- no one wants to buy a house that is next to a house with a bunch of tires, old rusted tractor, old sheds that are falling in on their yards.  This is ridiculous!!!   And last I wish people would keep thier pets on a leash, after all there is a leash law.  There are at least 2 to 3 houses on some blocks that have junky yards that are eyesores.  

If you have a violation complaint, you can call KCMO's Action Center at 311 and voice a complaint or you can call Neighborhood Preservation at 816-513-9010 and ask for a Northland City Inspector.

Greetings Barbara, I am so glad that you identified yourself as the busy body who can't mind her own business. As soon as I find out your address( I am having you skip traced by a repo man) I am going to sit outside your house in the street with binoculars and nit pic everything wrong with your house and turn you into the city. That should keep you busy all winter fixing things since I am a general contractor and work with the codes administration frequently. This will help you to keep your mind to your own business and to learn that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. I hope you are happy that you have the whole neighborhood accusing eachother of calling the city on them. Where I live we are friends with our neighbors and help them fix their houses and rake leaves and such, we are a community not a rat hole like the Chaumierre neighborhood has become of idiots who think they are better than their neighbors.

No house is perfect and since I am a general contractor, it will be easy to make a large list of the things wrong with your house and turn them into the city. I don't know why neighbors just can't get along. I don't think nitpicking your neighbors houses are going to bring up your property values, look around, you live in Chaumierre, no curbs, no sidewalks, no storm drains. Your houses will never bring good value. As I told Barbara, people in glass houses should not throw stones.
