Norton Area Neighbors

I am pleased to announce that today the City Council approved funding for the Rice Street Streetscape project and funding to begin planning improvements to the Maryland/Rice intersection. The St. Paul HRA (composed of City Council members) also approved funding to begin a housing redevelopment near the intersection of Rice and Winnipeg, being undertaken by SPARC. Construction will likely begin in Fall 2006 or Spring 2007.
