Norwood Neighborhood Rummage Sale

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 17th from 9AM to 6PM, because our neighborhood rummage sale is sure to be a great time! Whether you're hoping to sell or buy or a little of both, this is the place to be.

Our sale will be announced by a classified ad in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on July 17th, 18th and 19th, so we're expecting a lot of shoppers. If you're participating as a seller, we'd appreciate it if you could contribute $3.00 to help defray the cost of the ad. Please give your contribution to Eric and Jenna (5525 W. Brooklyn) or Stevenson and Marianne (5712 W. Brooklyn) before or during the sale. If you aren't able to contribute, don't worry about it. We'd rather have participants than money. This is more about having fun and getting to know your neighbors than raising funds.

In addition to the ad, we'll be putting up signs on Roosevelt Drive, 60th Street and 51st Boulevard, so we should draw more shoppers that way too. If anyone is interested in volunteering to put up and take down a sign in one of these areas (especially if it's near your house), please call Eric and Jenna (447-0378) or Stevenson and Marianne (442-0080). We hope to put ad cards up at local businesses (grocery stores, Sherman Perk, etc.) as well, so if anyone would like to do that, please let us know.
