Thanks to Arlys Hope for the following recipe, a favorite
for over 40 years.
Brown in skillet:
2 lbs. ground beef
chopped onions
1/2 cup celery
1 green pepper
Add:
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 cup catsup
1 can tomato soup
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or longer. Hollow out bun
and fill with mixture or serve open face.
