Water Wise

• When you warm up your shower, catch it in a bucket and use it to water plants or flush the toilet (this saves at least one gallon per shower).

• Apply for rain barrel rebates and catch the water from rain we do have and use it for watering plants (saves at least 55 gallons of water per barrel). Find rebates at http://www.sandiego.gov/water/conservation/ and http://socalwatersmart.com/ Even with more rain we are under drought restrictions. Water twice per week only and keep saving water in all possible ways. Full list of restrictions at
