DUMPING STUFF ON CURBSIDE

There have been reports of illegal dumping around the neighborhood. Anything from furniture to appliances is seen in different parts of Oak Park. While we understand that from time to time some things just need to go, we ask you to plan accordingly. One option is, wait for community cleanup which happens every quarter and provides an opportunity for all in the neighborhood to get rid of unwanted stuff.  Or, use the FREE STUFF section on Craigslist. Snap a picture of your items, give a short description and watch it disappear from your front yard within hours. Free things have been known to go in as little as 15 minutes! Or, donate it to a charity and get a write-off on your taxes.
