RECYCLING PROGRAM IS STILL OPERATIONAL

For those of you who are recycling paper, glass and plastic, the collection day is FRIDAY of each week. Put your newspapers in a brown bag(be sure to keep them dry), and place them out in the alley early on Friday Morning. Put your aluminum cans, steel cans, unbroken glass and Plastics 1&2 in a clear or blue plastic bag. Place in the alley before 7:30 am. I use a large garbage can for convenience and they retrieve the brown bags and plastic bags from the container. If you are not currently participating, you need to give it a try, as the service is much more consistent now. Call 311 for information or to report non-pickup of recyclables.
