Week of September 13 - 19

Good morning neighbors & friends of Oak Park Estates
Homeowners Association/CW 4290. This is Saturday,
September 25.

For the week of September 13-19, we had ONE REPORTED
OFFENSE for the week. There was a hijack of a vehicle
valued at $58,000 in the 4000 block of Rugged Drive.
Stereo equipment and CD's were also taken. Vehicle
not recovered at this time.

Next week is FRONT BRUSH AND TRASH PICKUP, so get your
'stuff' out on the front curb NOW! No rocks, brick,
dirt, tires, oil or remodeling trash. Essentially
anything else you can tote out there will be picked up.

For the Druid Hills CW, just west of Rugged Drive,
they had FOUR REPORTED OFFENSES for the week. They
had two stolen vehicles, one recovered. There was a
theft of some vehicle parts from a vehicle. And there
was a theft of services, when a patron refused to pay
a taxi cab driver. For additional information, call

For the Club Oaks CW, just south of Loop 12, they had
THREE REPORTED OFFENSES for the previous week. They
had one stolen vehicle which was not recovered. Vehicle
parts were taken from a vehicle and the windshield was
broken. And finally, they had a burglary of a residence,
taking $475 worth of articles. For information call their

For the Kimball East CW, west of Hampton Drive out
to Westmoreland Road, they had FOUR REPORTED OFFENSES
FOR THE WEEK. There was a theft from an individual of
a walkie talkie radio. Thief was arrested and taken to
jail. There were two residential burglaries. Broke
windows in both cases and took a total of about $2000
worth of items. They had one stolen vehicle which was

Week of September 6 - 12

Good morning neighbors & friends of Oak Park Estates
Homeowners Association/CW 4290. This is Saturday,
September 18. For the last two weeks, we have NO
REPORTED OFFENSES. Keep up the good work by being
vigilant and reporting any unusual activity.

Congratulations to the winners of the Most Beautiful
Yard of the Month for September. Thanks to each of
you who won a monthly award for this summer. And thanks
to the selection committee of Faye Nious and David
Calvert for driving the neighborhood each month to make
the choices. And thanks to all of you for making OUR
neighborhood a great place to live.

There will be a selection of the Most Beautiful Yard
Decoration for Halloween and for Christmas. So make
your plans now to decorate your yard for these upcoming
events.

For the Druid Hills CW, just west of Rugged Drive,
they had TWO REPORTED OFFENSES for the week. There
was an aggravated robbery of $70 in the 2300 block of
West Ledbetter Drive. And there was an arrest made for
interference with an emergency call in the 2100 block
of Vatican Lane. For the previous week they had an
aggravated robbery in the 2200 block of Vatican Lane.

For the Club Oaks CW, just south of Loop 12, they had
NO REPORTED OFFENSES for the previous week. The previous
week, they had one burglary of a motor vehicle, 3 stolen
vehicles and one burglary. For information call their

For the Kimball East CW, west of Hampton Drive out
to Westmoreland Road, they had FOUR REPORTED OFFENSES
FOR THE WEEK. They had one stolen vehicle, two aggravated
robberies and a business burglary of $5400 worth of items.
The previous week, they had an aggravated robbery in the
3500 block of West Ledbetter. The robber used a chrome
plated revolver. There was a MURDER on Boulder on the
back of the school property. The victim had one shot to

Good morning neighbors & friends of Oak Park Estates
Homeowners Association/CW 4290. This is Friday,
August 27.

We had ONE REPORTED offenses for the week of August 16-22.
There was a burglary at the Bishop Dunne High School.
Broke window with a rock, entered and took $1,700 worth
of items. There was a recovery of $100 worth of items,
with no suspects and no arrests.

For the Druid Hills CW, just west of Rugged Drive,
they had FOUR REPORTED OFFENSES for the week. There
was one stolen vehicle which was later recovered. They
had a theft of mail from a mailbox in the 5700 block of
South Hampton. There was a burglary of a residence in
the Woodhollow Apartment complex. There were no suspects
and no arrests in these three cases. Three armed suspects
did a car jack in the 2400 block of West Ledbetter Drive.
Took vehicle worth $1,600 and $100 cash from slightly
injured victim. Descriptions were given but no arrests.
