I am a resident here in Oak View Subdivision and with some concern I createed this site for those residents who choose to use this tool. I do not recommend listing your name and your information as residents on this site.  There is a place to do that on the right side of the page, however if this information gets in the wrong hands it can be used against you.   What I do recommend is to list thefts and concerns in our neighborhood as you see them arise.  It is quite simple to post and I hope you choose to keep those around you in our neighborhood informed through this venue.

Perhaps you can give cell phone numbers to a few of your neighbors so in the event of your absence they see something strange or unusual they can contact you to verify.  Personally I have given my numbers to several neighbors incase they see something  or in the event they are alone at home and need someone to call due to a break in etc.   This of course is totally up to you. 

The front of the neighborhood is our responsiblilty to keep up.   I have been mowing the lawn and clipping the bushes for  years since we have been here from the beginning of the neighborhoods inception.  There have been other residents who help with the grass cutting as well.  If we all pitch in when we see the need and keep our entry way up, perhaps it will be a deterant.   Lets keep our neighborhood looking good.
