Should the BCa remain active the Neighborhood Advisory Committee after sucessfully being removed from the Project Area Committee?
Issue: The NAC is a collection of individuals and organizations that espouse community improvements; however, these improvements could improve some acceptable items and some unacceptable items to the BCA area. The NAC is made up of folks generally not within the BCA. Said groups desires to dictate want is good for a community that they do not represent. Some of these improvements may displace several hundred BCA family and community homes. It seems that these folks acting in the interest of the communiity are acting in their own interest particularly after near a 1,000 BCA residents sign petitions opposing the Strong neighborhoods Intitative and the harmful action that could result thereof.
Thus, should the BCA remain active in the NAC, where they have little to no voice?
