We've only lived here a short time, but I have a complaint. We're getting tired of picking up trash blowing in our yard coming from 5959. I see the lady next door to them picking it up a lot, but so do we. We're also tired of kids always cutting through our yard and going into the woods behind that house at all hours. I thought there were rules about keeping up a neat appearance here?

What street is 5969 on? I live on 5969
Sycamore Forge Lane and I never leave any kind of trash in my yard, so I'm not sure how that could be happening, assuming that this is 5969 Sycamore Forge Lane? First, I need to know if it is my yard-please email me at kmhoff@comcast.net if it is. You can always leave a note on my door also. If it is my yard, the only way I know how it could be happening is I have recycling bins that I set out, and the wind could be blowing some of that stuff out of the bins into your yard. I also see trash in my yard that I know is not mine, but so far I just pick it up, and I don't blame other people. I don't know who those kids are that cut through the woods behind my house-assuming we are talking about the same woods-I don't have any kids, so that isn't my fault either.

The house referenced was 59 not 69. I think this person is talking about the house on main street coming into Oakforge Woods. It isn't a very well kept place. A lot of stuff piled up along the house a car parked in the yard. There was trash in the yard before the snow. If the next door neighbor isn't complaining why should anyone else? Seems to me they would have a bigger issue.

There are rules about keeping the outside of your house free of trash and junk. The board sends out violation letters to people all the time. The more complaints a house gets, the more attention the board will give that house. If you see anything that pulls your propery value down, please make a formal complaint with Affordable.
