What ever happened to the proposed bypass that was supposed to be built for Route 1 between Rt 40 and 273 that just completely stopped in its tracks? I just found out that the exit is still planned.
I think the Lowes parking lot in Eden Square is very cumbersome to get in and out of so it would be more convenient than crossing over the busy Rt 40 where Delawareans drive like they are on a suicide mission.
The crime in the area is bothering my quality of life. It is nuts all the rapes, robberies and home invasions. Are the businesses sure they want to open around here. Perhaps that will deter them.
Besides I would rather see a business there than a bunch of town homes. And believe me that is what they will build. It brings more money for the builder. The home builders don't care about the roads and congestion or the crime for that matter either.
