At the Special Meeting held October 19th the Village Council passed resolutions to approve contracts with three companies to provide for repairs and maintenance on the streets in the Village.
A contract was approved to repair the crumbling sides of the streets on Valleyview and Hague and on the inner streets within the Village.
A contract was approved to seal the cracks in the streets to prevent the streets from needing to be repaired.
And finally, a contract was approved to restripe all of the roads, stopbars, railroad crossings, turn arrows and crosswalks within the Village along Valleyview and Hague.
As part of the repairs on the streets the alley south of Dibblee and east of Warren will be repaired.
It is hoped that all of the work will be completed before the winter weather sets in. If you have any questions about the street work please contact the Village Hall or speak with the Mayor or Street Commissioner.
