I wanted to thank the person that wrote the nice letter to the editor in the Westside Messenger. It is good to see the perspective of someone who lives outside the Village.
This forum has been setup to allow residents and visitors to exchange information about what is going on in the Village and to be kept informed about what is coming up or happened in the Village.
To those that are visiting this site because of the recent publicity in the Westside Messenger I welcome you to this little place in cyberspace that the Village of Valleyview calls home. It has always been the intent of this site to allow individuals to post their thoughts and concerns here so that polite discussions can be started.
Sometimes the Village Government does not always get the feedback from the residents that we would like. I understand that people have very busy schedules these days with so many committments pulling them in every direction attending a Council or Committee Meeting is not always possible. This site is an opportunity for residents to be kept informed and have a chance to voice thier concerns.
I try and post information about what has happened at the meetings or what is going to happen at upcoming meetings. Neighborhoodlink recently added an Add-A-PDF section to the site and I hope to begin posting the Meeting Minutes, Agendas and Legislation on the site so that people can be informed without having to come to every meeting. I encourage everyone to attend all the meetings that they can.
