''Are you saying that the finance chair is the boss?''

No, I am saying that the Finance Chair is the lead at getting everyone working on the same page to address the problems. The Finance Chair sets the agenda for the Finance Meetings and leads the review of the Finances. It is one of the most important jobs in the Village to stay on top of the finances and see that bills are being paid and there are funds to meet the financial obligations of the Village.

''Don't you think council has the last word?''

Council always has the last word. Council is responsible for the finances of the Village. It is so important to this Village that every member of Council serves on the Finance Committee now. That was the way it was before you left though you never attended any of the finance meetings.

''How did you work your magic that you hold the upper hand?''

I would like to think that kindness and courteousy played a big role in everyone working together. Instead of screaming at people I like to calmly and professionally discuss everything and see that everyone has the information that they need to perform their jobs. There is no upper hand, just a committment from everyone to solve the problems of the Village in a professional and friendly manner.

''When you voted to take the police funds away, what did you think would happen? No money, no police.''

I never voted to take the funding away COMPLETELY from the Police Department. I voted to move funds to make them available for other more pressing needs of the Village. Your statement is true, no money, no police, but you chose no police and money for your salary and the salaries of the others. Everyone was willing to sacrifice for the Village and work for free or cut their pay except for you, Bob Graves, Steve Williams, Sue Huber, and Mayor Raylene Graves.

There were other solutions, but the hatred and the need for vengence of four of the members of Council sitting up there only served to hurt the residents which you swear you wanted to help.

There was money and a way to make it work. You and the others took the easy road and voted to get rid of the Police Department and increase the funding for your salaries. There seems to be a disconnect there. In my opinion there were other options.

Curious

>>This area no longer concerns you. You no longer live here.

I was just curious to know if you apply this criterion to all of us who are no longer ''there''. Should this be the concensus of those who are members of this forum,I will gladly remove the page from my favorites nd not ever return to it again. Let me know.
