After a year's hiatus due to construction and remodeling, the Friends of the Pickerington Library are back! Friends and Neighbors, our spring book sale is coming up the end of March. All proceeds of the sale benefit our programs such as ''Patches For Progress,'' the library's summer family reading program and other children's programs. The sale will be in the Pickerington Public Library, 201 Opportunity Way, and the dates and times are:
Wednesday Mar 29th 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Members Night (Memberships available at the door)
Thursday Mar 30th 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Public Sale
Friday Mar 31st 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Public Sale
Saturday Apr 1st 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Public Sale
Sunday Apr 2nd 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Public Sale
We always welcome volunteers who want to help with the sale or with any of our other programs. You can contact us by email at friends@pickeringtonlibrary.org, through our web site, foppl.homestead.com or you can leave your name and phone number at the library and we'll contact you. We are also taking donations at the library.
If you haven't had a chance to see the revamped library, this is your chance. Come on in and join your neighbors, find an old favorite or a new one and do some good for our library. Remember, a new book is just one you haven't read.
