After several calls, Marsha was informed that the detention area drainage ditch (which is currently clogged) is not the responsibility of the City of Columbus. It is owned by the homeowners of Hamilton Highlands, therefore the maintenance and cost of keeping the ditch free of debris is the homeowners responsibility. Marsha is still working on trying to get all this resolved and get the drainage cleared of debris. She has also posted signs around the ditch.

I've been working on this issue since April 22. After our findings, that Brenda mentioned, I'm now addressing the Ohio Department of Transportation. I'm hoping after they get their drains cleared, after construction done last year, that will resolve our issue. We'll keep you updated!

Most of know that the storm sewer got stopped up after people were mud running with a truck. Was anything ever done about that?
