I agree I would rather find another ''home'' for the VFW. I have talked to many neighbors that feel the same way about this. I have talked to homeowners in the other subdivision that feel the same way. I think VFW's are great,I have been to VFW's and the Key Club(Army/Navy) many times but they dont belong in the middle of 2 subdivisions. This is going to hurt property values and hurt us when we go to sell our homes, Especially the homes close by. If/when I go to sell my home, who is going to want to buy a home next to bar(hint: not many).Thankyou to those who actually had a intelligent opinion on the matter.

Thank You Neighbor! I too, have gone to VFW, Moose, AMVETS, etc. Have NOTHING against them. But, as you said, I'd like to get value from our home also. And, more so, I want our kids safe in their yards & on their walks.

It is a waste of time to say anthing on this site. I would love to know who always talks threatening to people and will never sign there name !!! At least it is a VFW & not a rowdy club. They still may not end up there, since they have many permits to still get. So just relax and let's see if it happens anyways. I for one have my doubts !!!
